If there is something you need to type, whether it be a letter, an article, or even just a shopping list, it can be done on a computer quickly and easily.

If a song is out, you can find it on the internet and listen to it on your computer, even while you’re offline. I recommend iTunes for managing your songs.
4. Make Your Own Programs
Have a great idea for a program? Learn a programming language such as C, C++, Java, Objective C, or Visual Basic, and make your idea into something real. Releasing your program on the internet may even earn some money for you.
5. Learn to do something
You can find out how to do almost anything on the internet. As homeschooling becomes more popular, more and more parents are turning to the internet to educate their children.
6. Find out where something is
If there is a business, or someone’s house and you don’t know how to get to it, the internet is your answer. I recommend maps.google.com for directions.
7. Find out the local weather
Go to weather.com and type in your city name or zip code, and you will know the weather and can plan activities based on it.
8. Send email to people around the world
If you have internet, you are able to email. Email is one of the quickest and easiest ways to communicate with people across the world, and best of all, it’s completely free.
9. Have video and voice chats with other people
Most laptops now have built in webcams and microphones. If you don’t have one, they are pretty cheap. Video and voice chats are a good way to feel connected with the person you’re talking with.
10. Watch movies online
If there’s a movie you want to see, but you don’t want to go out to a store and rent or buy it, do it online!
11. Join a chat room and meet some new people
There are many free chat rooms where you can talk with a diverse group of people about many subjects

Starting your own website is not hard, and may even make you some money. Not to mention, it’s fun.

There are lots of ways to make money online, such as writing computer programs, making a website, making apps for mobile devices, or gambling.

A computer is a very easy way to get homework done, and if you need help, there are many tools available to you on a computer.
15. Print letters, documents, or pictures
Have important information on your computer? Print it out. Give it to people that need it. Put it on your fridge. Do anything with the printed piece of paper.
16. Watch videos of almost anything online

Use a drawing program such as Photoshop or even Paint and draw your own pictures.
Shopping online is quick and easy. There are many sites where you can shop for almost anything.
19. Write reviews for products, to help other people shop
Everyone likes finding out what people think of an item before they buy it. Write a review and help someone out.
Gambling online is a risky way which may earn you money. It can also be fun.
21. Become famous
Do something, post it on the internet, and become famous. Did you know, Justin Bieber and Chris Pirillo both became famous because of the internet?
22. Store and view photos
Store and view all your photos on your computer. You can import them from your camera and its much better then taking disposable film and getting it developed. Your computer can easily hold thousands of photos.
23. Get a job
If you’re looking to get a job, it’s easy to do it online. Monster.com is a popular job site.
24. Apply for a school/college/university
Sick of your job and can’t get a new one? Want to get a new degree? You better go back to school. It’s easy to apply online, most schools have a website you can go to.
